Admissions Criteria

Admission Criteria for New Students – Saudi Schools

  • High School Certificate
  • Aptitude Test (Qudurat)

Admission Criteria for New Students – International Schools

  • Certificate of high school or equivalent and be certified by the relevant authorities
  • Aptitude Test (Qudurat) or equivalent

Admission Criteria for Visiting Students

  • An accredited academic record from the University where the student
  • The student’s basic approval of the material to be studied

Acceptance Criteria for Transferred Students

  • High School Certificate
  • Accredited Academic Record
  • The student must be studying at a University recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education
  • The student should not have any bad record at the previous university
  • The student must meet any other requirements requested by the University Council Admission Committee

Scholarship of Al Yamamah University for Male\Female Students
Terms of Scholarship
The student has graduated from the high school for the year 1437-1438 AH
Fill the online Form
Visit the University Admissions Office and provide them with an English language proficiency certificate such as TOEFL or IELTS. If the student has not submitted and obtained it, he or she will take the English language test
The student has to submit the General Aptitude Test, taken at the National Center for Testing and Evaluation
Completing the Admission Criteria
The results of the first screening are announced from the month of Dhu al-Qa’dah corresponding to the first week of August
The results of the second screening are announced from the first month of Dhu al-Hijjah corresponding the first week of September
* The Admission Office will notify the candidates through text messages

Study Plan

The University applies the Credit hours system, which is universally recognized in Universities and Academic colleges
The year is divided into three semesters:

  • Fall Semester – 17 weeks
  • Spring Semester – 17 weeks
  • Summer Semester – 8 weeks
